Hearing test over the phone
Our quirky friends over in the UK sure are… quirky. It seems that a company over there recently started a hearing test that you can take over the phone. I’m having trouble imagining how that makes sense… if you can’t hear anything, how can you hear the responses that the automated system is giving you? How do they know if your phone volume is turned all the way up or all the way down? If you’re deaf, and the service tells you so, you’ll have no idea! Check it out at BBC News.
