Thailand in midst of yellow shirt famine
While the Irish have fears of another potato famine, the folks in Thailand are in the midst of a more epic problem - a yellow shirt shortage. An upcoming celebration for King Thailand ( I dont know what his name is ) is the cause - apparently yellow is what you wear to the king’s part in Thailand. The poor saps who didn’t buy theirs early are facing, apparently high markups on clothing - 100%. Hmm…. Here in the states, we have shirts that cost the companies about oh, I don’t know, 11 cents to make, and we pay $70-$80 for them. I think I could deal with 100% markup. Full story.
