16 things Google Trends has taught me
Google Trends is an amazing tool – and it helps you discover things that you may never have figured out otherwise. In the spirit of Steve Rubel’s post a few months back, here’s my list of 16 things Google Trends has taught me. Some are just proving what we already thought, and some are, well a little surprising.
- Toyota is already crushing GM.
- France finally beat Germany at something.
- People are much more concerned about beer than gas prices.
- Speaking of beer, it is also more important than Iran.
- Not to put too much emphasis on the importance of beer, I’ve also noticed that beer is much more interesting than terrorism.
- Christians have won the war against Muslims ( I didn’t know it ever officially started? )
- As if it even merits a mention, God of course wins a decisive victory vs Satan.
- Good overshadows evil.
- People are more concerned with Nazis than terrorists.
- Yahoo is bigger than Google. But Google is gaining.
- Podcasts are finally more interesting than gum.
- Steve Irwin is more important than President Bush.
- Palm is killing Windows Mobile.
- Women beat the men.
- Iran cannot possibly hope to defeat the US.
- People prefer chicken to steak. Guess those Chik-Fil-A commercials really do work.

13 and 15 are the same. You might want to find another one to replace one of those.

Haha can’t believe I missed that. I’ll have to fix it when I get home from work today.
