JCPenney $500 Gift Card
If you shop at JCPenney, or even if you don’t take a moment to answer the question, and you may end up with a $500 gift card. If you still don’t want it, Ebay it or send it my way, I don’t mind.

Google updated their Adsense Terms of Service, again. ( Thanks to Ray at Freshblogger for the tip. ) I won’t go into all the changes here, because most of them are exceedingly boring. However, I will highlight two that irk me.
No pictures next to Adsense blocks
Plain and simple, that means no Adsense [...]
Google Checkout made a big appearance today - right on Google’s homepage. And not the usual discreet text link by itself, either - no no. Google even decided to throw some money on the table - $10 the first time you us Google Checkout. It’s all right there on Google’s search page [...]
Not 5 minutes after I posted about Google Checkout’s prominent place on Google.com, it’s gone! Is it gone for everyone else too?
Just when I think I have the big G figured out, they go and mess with my head.
In most of the country, Starbucks is as good as it gets for coffee. Sure, the coffee is good, and you have lots of choices. But the service is clearly lacking; usually the stores are staffed by high- school teenagers who are more often than not on some sort of
chemically induced high. [...]
This post is a review of JohnChow.com - part of his review series.
JohnChow.com is the blog of ( surprise ) John Chow. I don’t really know who John Chow is, and to be frank, I don’t care even a little bit. But I discovered his blog about 2 months ago or so, and [...]
It’s been quite some time since I posted my first list of 9 essential Wordpress plugins over at Blogging Blog. I feel like it’s about time for another look at what I use, and what I feel is necessary. Without further adieu, my list:
Akismet - This one still takes my top spot. [...]
I just read an article called How to Avoid Accidental Overtipping, at 2 Pennies Earned. The gist of the article is that you should tip based on the subtotal, and not the after-tax total. You may be tipping $1-$2 too much ( !! ) every time you eat out.
If you’re obsessing over $1 [...]
Over the last 24 hours, tickets to Seattle, Washington have tripled in price or more, for all major airlines. The rest of the country seems to be strangely unaffected by this surge in airline ticket prices.
Some are saying that it’s a pending sign of the Apocalypse, but people say that for everything. It’s [...]
This site has never been a real moneymaker with Adsense, despite getting a pretty good amount of traffic. I’ve never been particularly happy with the amount of money it makes. So I decided to do something about it.
Enter Llama Ads. I’m working on putting together my very own rudimentary ad system. This way, I can [...]
I guess, on principle, this picture should be upsetting. It should make me angry. It is very sexist after all.
But, after careful consideration, I have decided that I’m not offended. In fact, I think we should make all restaurants work this way too. Women with no shirts get free food!
Hell [...]
The Green Llama is going under the knife today, for a pretty major theme upgrade. No, this isn’t the custom theme that I’ve been wanting, but it’s a heavily modified version of Cutline. All new theme, all new plugins, and more in the works today. So if you come by today and something’s not working [...]
An unnamed girl, aged 19, just received $35,000 from the city of Pensacola Florida. See, when this girl was just 16 years old, she was found in a car with a 19 year old male. Officer Shawn Patrick Shields, who found the teens, ordered them out of the car, and threatened to [...]
Many beaches have issues. Often, the issue is with trash, crowdedness, or rowdy drunk teenager. But the beaches in Canacona have a different problem, and one that you wouldn’t think of - nudity.
Residents of the area are moving out in droves these days. Foreign visitors to the Canacona beaches are stripping down - [...]
The United States Senate Banking Committee wants to discourage people who are financially responsible. If that sounds inflammatory, perhaps it is. But that’s the bottom line of the latest foolishness that our government is discussing. Basically, the Senate Banking Committee feels that people who pay off their credit card statements in full [...]
Incandescent, or ‘traditional’ lightbulbs, that is. At least that’s what’s currently being considered by the state. If approved, the act would ban incandescent lightbulbs by 2012 in favor of energy-efficient compact fluorescent lightbulbs. Considering the fact that fluorescent bulbs use about 25% of the energy that old-school incandescent bulbs use, this is [...]
Green Llama is a place to learn about making money online. Any ideas or walk-through's I have, I'll post here for your enjoyment. I also do product and online service reviews.
However, I tend to run off on tangets quite often. I call this part of the site 'random crap'. Basically I'll go off and post about whatever I want, just to keep things interesting. Have fun and stay tuned.
