February 2007 Online Earnings Report

February is the shortest month of the year, which usually means it’s one of the toughest in terms of making money online. For me, that was just not the case. After a record-breaking January, I crushed the short-lived record in February. Total net profit for all my online ventures was [...]

Review Me Affiliate Program Launches

Review Me launched their affiliate program just the other day, and it’s something I’m going to keep a close eye on. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Review Me, basically it’s a non-shady version of Pay Per Post.
All reviews require a disclosure that the review is sponsored, and it’s not required to [...]

Crispyblogposts.com Review

The authors of Crispyblogposts.com asked me to do a review of their new site, and offer my input / opinions. I, of course, happily agreed. And, for the record, this is not a sponsored post.
Crispy Blog Posts is basically a DIGG-clone at heart, but focused on blogs, instead of all websites. Not [...]

Green Llama scaring 300 posts

I’m quickly approaching post #300 on the Green Llama.  To me, that’s a heck of a lot of posts in one place - though it may not seem like a lot to some of you 5x a day posters.  Anyway, is there anything special that you guys would like to see for number 300?

Paula Mooney Reviewed

Paula Mooney’s blog is one that I picked up fairly recently, though I don’t remember where I found it exactly. For some reason I’m thinking she commented at Technosailor and I followed the link? I’m not sure, and my goldfish-memory doesn’t help much.
Anyway, that’s neither here nor there. I like Paula’s site, [...]

Text link ads review

Text Link ads is one of my favorite online revenue sources. It provides a solid, predictable income every single month. Perhaps the best part about Text Link Ads is that the revenue tends to increase every month as your site grows.
What is Text Link Ads?
Text Link Ads is a company with two sides [...]

Write for tomorrow

When you’re blogging, and trying to keep your posts consistent, it can be difficult.  If daily posting is the goal, inevitably you’ll end up with two posts some days and nothing the next.  While this isn’t a terrible thing, it’s not the goal.  You want consistency if at all possible.
The solution is very simple - write [...]

Know More Media logs 5 Millionth Visitor

Know More Media, one of the biggest business blogging networks, recently achieved a pretty significant milestone - it’s 5 millionth visitor.  Granted, the Green Llama is close behind and should reach that same milestone soon, likely around the year 2086, but it’s still pretty strong nonetheless.
If you’re not familiar with Know More Media, they’re a [...]

Green Llama Post Number 300

And now batting, nummmmmmmber Three Hundred! That’s right, this here is post number 300 on the Green Llama. I know that’s not a huge number to some people, but to me that’s a heck of a lot. It took a little over a year to get there, which isn’t too bad in [...]

Treo 755p - Coming to Sprint?

There’s a rumor floating around that Sprint will launch a new Treo smartphone in May. According to the little bit of information ( disinformation? ) that we have, the new Treo will be called the Treo 755p.
Likely, it will share the Treo 750 form factor, which means an internal antenna. It will be [...]

DIMM - Does it make money?

One of the phrases I learned in another life as a car salesman was “DIMM”. DIMM stands for “Does it make money?” It was a question that we were supposed to ask ourselves when looking over our daily activities.
The concept of DIMM is very simple. Take a few minutes today and look [...]

SponsoredReviews.com Launches

This post is a sponsored post, as part of the SponsoredReviews.com program. Though the post is sponsored, my comments and opinions are honest and unedited. I have never, nor will I ever, participate in a paid posting program where I’m required to review a service positively.
Another paid posting service recently launched - this [...]

Follow that bus

Sometimes there’s no need for words.  And why don’t we have busses like that here in the states?

Erica Chevillar, also known as the Bikini Teacher; the former 10th grade teacher from Boca Raton, has stripped it all off for America’s favorite magazine, Playboy. Health teacher jailed for six months

Rebekah M. Todd, a 25 year old former Buckley health and phys ed teacher, will be spending the next six months holed up in jail. See, Ms. Todd somehow had trouble attracting mates that were of legal age. That’s especially strange when you consider that she’s pretty easy on the eyes, as [...]

Quick note on a DIGG

Just the other day, Green Llama dot net was Dugg - in fact, one of my posts got over 1,000 Digg’s - not too shabby. The traffic came pouring in and was quickly shut off to a trickle. The Digg Bury Brigade came through, as they often do, and shut down my story [...]

Underpromise and Overdeliver

Daniel over at Daily Blog Tips ( one of my favorite daily reads, by the way ) recently posted on the concept of “Underpromise and Overdeliver“. The concept is one that I’m very familiar with, and make an effort to put into practice every day.
The concept is especially important when dealing with customers or [...]

Make money online with Green Llama

Today I’m launching a new theme ( a temporary one, but more fitting for now ) as well as a site-wide refocus. I’ve decided to focus the majority of my posting on the varied topic of making money online. I’ll ramble on about how to make money blogging, using affiliate programs, text link [...]

Niche A Day

There are a lot of great free resources online these days, and sometimes it’s hard to keep an eye on all of them. Or better said, it’s quite impossible. With new things popping up daily, it can be a daunting task.
One of the free resources that I’ve been using for awhile now is [...]

Duvet Dollars - Anatomy of a failed Ebook

Duvet Dollars, perhaps the worst titled ebook I can recall during my time on the internet, was released one month ago today. The book’s writer, one so-called “Victoria” , was the greatest selling point that the book had. Despite the fact that the book was filled with things anyone can find [...]

Who can make money blogging?

Many people jump in the fray every single day, with the goal of making money by blogging. Some will succeed, but most will fail to make any significant amount of money. So, who is making money blogging, you ask? Let’s take a look.
Most people who make money blogging have already hit it [...]

Mac Chick of the month - March 2007

Remember February’s Mac Chick of the month - Teemaree? Well those quirky Mac lovers over at Macenstein are at it again, with March’s Mac Chick of the Month. This lady here goes by DeBranne, and like Teemaree, enjoys using her Mac while wearing as little clothing as possible. She also shares [...]

My blogging mistake

Daniel from Daily Blog Tips ( one of my must-read blogs, by the way ) is hosting a group project - and you all know I’m a sucker for blogging group projects. This time around, the topic is blogging mistakes. My biggest mistake was one I made early on when I started blogging. [...]

The Green Llama is Back

No, I don’t mean the site, it never went anywhere. I mean the actually green llama itself. After my recent redesign, there was some serious concern about the missing llama. To make things right, I decided to bring him back, and I’m glad I did. The Green Llama just didn’t feel [...]

Do you use Squidoo?

Squidoo is one of those services that I’ve known about for awhile, but only recently got around to trying out. Here’s an overview.
What is Squidoo?
Squidoo is a website owned by Seth Godin, one of my favorite marketing gurus. On Squidoo, you can create what’s called a “lens”, and customize it to your liking. [...]

Is MyBlogLog worth it?

I’ve been using the MyBlogLog widget on my this blog for awhile now. I should have noted the day I installed it, but I didn’t. I’d probably say close to the two month mark, if I had to make a semi-educated guess. I’m at the point now where I’m wondering if [...]

GreenLlama

Green Llama is a place to learn about making money online. Any ideas or walk-through's I have, I'll post here for your enjoyment. I also do product and online service reviews.

However, I tend to run off on tangets quite often. I call this part of the site 'random crap'. Basically I'll go off and post about whatever I want, just to keep things interesting. Have fun and stay tuned.
