The progress a year can make
I took a minute this evening to make a comparison for myself. I compared my earnings from the last six months of 2006 ( Jul 1 - Dec 31 ) to the first six months of 2007 ( Jan 1 - Jun 30 ), out of curiosity more than anything. I knew I had done better in the most recent six months, but I had no idea how vast the difference really was. I earned three times as much in the first six months of this year, as I did in the last six of last year. Imagine how things will look in another six months at the same pace. Now imagine a year. There’s no telling what the future will bring, and even if maintaining the current pace is possible, but it’s something to really look forward to.
I enjoy taking a look at the progress I’ve made. As I’m fond of saying, how can you know where you’re going if you don’t know where you are?
