Wordpress RSS Display Plugin
I’m looking for a particular Wordpress plugin / function, but couldn’t find quite what I’m looking for. I’m sure there are probably 50 plugins that do this, but whatever I can’t find them. Here’s what I want.
- Display external RSS feeds ( 4 or 5 , in separate sections )
- Display only title of post – no content blurb
- No “powered by Feedburner” logo at the bottom, or other such nonsense.
- Works with Wordpress 2.3
Basically I’m setting up a section on my main company site that shows headlines from several of my other sites. For all I know there’s a simple Wordpress call that does the trick. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

Wordpress comes packaged with a RSS tool called Magpie RSS. I’ve only played with it a very little, but a little delving into the docs should turn up what you want to do. It’s not a plugin, and you’ll most likely have to hard code it in, but it should do the trick.

I haven’t tried it, but SideRSS (http://www.underjc.com/node/13) sounds like it might fit your requirements.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Magpie probably does what I want, but hey, I’m lazy. SideRSS gets the win here – quick, simple, and clean. Probably not as customizable as Magpie, but it works perfectly for my needs.
