Edgadget reviews the upcoming Nokia N80 and writes - ‘Still, to sum up the in-depth review succinctly, the Nokia N80 is the best phone ever, and will remain so until the end of time.’
Mobileburn also reviews the Nokia N80, and here’s what they had to say ‘The Nokia N80 is a quad band GSM and WCDMA compatible handset, and includes support for EDGE wireless data as well as WLAN networking. The N80 sports a large, 352×416 pixel resolution screen with up to 262,000 colors, 40MB internal memory, miniSD expansion slot, 3 megapixel camera, and runs the recently re-branded S60 operating system.’
So we’ve got a cool form factor, 3 MP camera, expansion slot, great screen, coupled with the Symbian OS. Is there room in the smartphone arena for a 3rd major OS? Time will tell. The N80 is set to go on sale Q1 2006 , estimated retail price of $599.
