Palm Treo 700p Review at TreoCentral

TreoCentral posted a very in-depth review of the Palm Treo 700p and had this to say - ‘In my view, it boils down to this: the single most compelling reason to upgrade from a 650 to a 700p is EVDO. Near DSL data speed is a joy. Bonuses are more than double the internal memory, better camera, a much more robust, expanded, and modernized software bundle in ROM, and a lot of little improvements here and there that take time to discover. Some subtle changes, some massive changes. The same form factor as the 650 for the most part, and your 650’s accessories should all work with it, which is a very good thing. And yet, while it’s the best Treo yet, the 700p has some quirks, some wonderful enhancements, some strange changes, and some letdowns. It’s evolutionary, not revolutionary. A mixed bag. As a heavy 650 user for a year and a half, it’ll take more time to get used to Palm’s new flagship product. ‘
EVDO is definately the killer improvement. I know I can’t wait till I get my hands on mine, to start enjoying that speed.
