The good folks over at TreoHQ posted a tip for those new Treo users who may not know, or even the long-time users who may have forgotten. To adjust the screen brightness on a Treo 650 or 700w, you just press “option + p”.

Simple things like that tend to remind me why I’m a Palm OS fan mainly. Although I’ve been harping on how cool the PPC-6700 is lately, some things about it really tick me off. Such as changing the brightness of the screen. In the PPC-6700, you have to go to the start men, settings, system, backlight. Or something like that; I don’t have the device in front of me. Palm has always been a master of keeping things simple, and there’s a lot to be said for that these days.
